Log into your Partner Dashboard.
Go to the Postbacks link in the left sidebar.
Click the [+Postback] button.
You will then be presented with several options:
Select a Postback Type:
Conversion: Choose this option to receive notifications when a standard conversion (the primary goal of the offer) is completed and meets the payout criteria.
Event: Select this if you want to track specific events or actions that occur before or after the main conversion (e.g., a user signing up for a trial, completing a form, or viewing a specific page). Note: This requires event tracking to be configured within the specific Everflow offer.
Select a Postback Level:
Global (Partner): This allows you to set up a single postback URL that will be triggered for all conversions across all the offers you promote. This is useful for centralizing your conversion tracking.
Specific (Offer): This option enables you to configure a unique postback URL for a particular offer. You would choose this if different offers require different notification endpoints or if you want to manage postback settings on an offer-by-offer basis.
Select a Delivery Method: -
Postback: This is the standard method for server-to-server (S2S) tracking and is the recommended option for most partners.
HTML: Use this option if you need to implement pixel-based tracking or integrate with platforms that primarily rely on HTML tags for conversion tracking.
Meta (Pixel): Select this to specifically integrate the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for conversion tracking.
TikTok (Pixel): Choose this for direct integration with the TikTok Pixel.
For server-to-server tracking, ensure "Postback" is selected.
Enter your Postback URL: In this field, you will enter the URL of the script or endpoint on your server that is designed to receive and process conversion notifications. You can include various tokens in your URL to receive specific data about the conversion.
A typical postback URL might look like this:
https://yourdomain.com/?nid=###&transaction_id={transaction_id}💡 Key Tokens:
Make sure your URL includes the {transaction_id} token—this is how Everflow uniquely identifies each conversion and allows you to match it with the corresponding click. You can also use other valuable tokens such as:
{sub1}, {sub2}, {sub3}, {sub4}, {sub5}: To receive the values you passed in your tracking link.
{offer_id}: The unique ID of the offer that generated the conversion.
{aff_id}: Your unique Partner ID in Everflow.
{amount}: The payout amount for the conversion (if provided by the offer).
{currency}: The currency in which the payout is denominated.
{event_id}: For "Event" postbacks, the specific ID of the event that occurred.

Leveraging Sub IDs in Everflow
As mentioned earlier, Sub IDs (Sub1 through Sub5) are powerful parameters you can append to your Everflow tracking links to gain more granular insights into your campaign performance. They allow you to track specific details about your traffic sources, ad placements, creatives, and more. This information is invaluable for optimizing your campaigns and identifying your most effective strategies.
Understanding the Benefits of Using Sub IDs:
Detailed Reporting: Sub IDs allow you to break down your conversion data by the specific values you track. For example, you can see how different ad placements on the same website perform.
Performance Optimization: By analyzing the performance of different Sub ID values, you can identify underperforming segments and allocate your resources to the most profitable areas.
Traffic Source Analysis: You can use Sub IDs to differentiate between various traffic sources (e.g., Facebook ads, email marketing, organic social media) within the same campaign.
A/B Testing: Sub IDs can help you track the performance of different ad creatives, landing pages, or call-to-actions within a single campaign.
Partner/Affiliate Tracking (if applicable): If you work with sub-affiliates or different partner IDs under your main account, you can use Sub IDs to track their individual performance.
How to Utilize Sub IDs in Your Tracking Links:
Recall that you append Sub IDs to your base tracking link using the parameters &sub1=your_value, &sub2=another_value, and so on, up to &sub5=yet_another_value.
Examples of Practical Sub ID Usage:
Let's look at some common scenarios and how Sub IDs can be used:
Tracking Traffic Sources:
https://yourdomain.com/aff_c?offer_id=123&aff_id=456&sub1=facebook&sub2=instagram
Here, sub1 tracks traffic from Facebook, and sub2 tracks traffic from Instagram.
Analyzing Ad Placements:
https://yourdomain.com/aff_c?offer_id=123&aff_id=456&sub1=sidebar_ad&sub2=banner_top
This example uses sub1 to track a sidebar ad and sub2 for a banner at the top of the page.
A/B Testing Ad Creatives:
https://yourdomain.com/aff_c?offer_id=123&aff_id=456&sub1=creative_v1&sub2=creative_v2
Here, sub1 and sub2 differentiate between two different ad creatives being tested.
Identifying Specific Campaigns:
https://yourdomain.com/aff_c?offer_id=123&aff_id=456&sub1=spring_sale_2025
This uses sub1 to identify a specific marketing campaign.
Tracking Different Devices:
https://yourdomain.com/aff_c?offer_id=123&aff_id=456&sub1=mobile&sub2=desktop
This allows you to see performance on mobile versus desktop devices.
Accessing and Analyzing Sub ID Data in Everflow:
The data you pass through your Sub ID parameters is readily available in your Everflow reporting. The primary place you'll find this information is in the Analytics - Flex Report. When generating this report, you can include the Sub1, Sub2, Sub3, Sub4, and Sub5 columns to view the specific values associated with each conversion.
You can then filter and sort this data to analyze the performance of different Sub ID values, allowing you to identify trends, optimize your campaigns, and make informed decisions about where to focus your efforts.
Best Practices for Using Sub IDs:
Consistency is Key: Develop a consistent naming convention for your Sub ID values across all your campaigns. This will make your reports much easier to understand and analyze over time. For example, always use "facebook" instead of sometimes using "fb" and other times the full name.
Plan Your Tracking: Before launching a campaign, think about what specific data points would be most valuable for you to track and optimize. Plan your Sub ID usage accordingly.
Use Meaningful Values: Choose Sub ID values that are descriptive and easy to understand when you see them in your reports.
Don't Overcomplicate: While you have five Sub ID slots, you don't always need to use all of them. Focus on tracking the data that will provide the most actionable insights.
By effectively leveraging Sub IDs, you can gain a much deeper understanding of your campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to improve your results within Everflow.
