Hume Body Pod Offer

Compliance Guidelines

To protect the Hume Health brand and ensure all advertising complies with applicable laws and platform policies, all publishers must follow the guidelines below. Because the Hume Body Pod is a health and wellness product, all marketing must also follow FTC and FDA advertising guidelines. Failure to comply may result in campaign suspension, traffic rejection, or removal from the offer.

Product Claims

Publishers may:

  • Accurately describe the Hume Body Pod as an at-home body composition scale that uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) with retractable handles to scan the torso, arms, and legs.

  • State that it tracks 45+ body composition and wellness metrics, such as muscle mass, body fat, visceral fat, and body water, and syncs with the free Hume app.

  • Highlight features shown on the official landing pages, such as a full-body scan in under 20 seconds, unlimited family accounts, wearable sync, and personalized AI coaching in the app.

  • Reference the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee and 1 Year Warranty as shown on the official landing pages.

  • Use approved marketing copy and creative provided by GiddyUp or the brand.

Publishers may not:

  • Make false, misleading, or exaggerated product claims.

  • Describe the Body Pod as a medical device, or claim it is "FDA approved" or "FDA cleared."

  • State or imply that the Body Pod replaces a DEXA scan, a doctor's visit, or any clinical test.

  • Claim that all app features are free. The Hume app is free to download, but some features may require a paid subscription.

  • Misrepresent the product's accuracy, certifications, press coverage, customer counts, or awards.

  • Use fabricated demonstrations, fake app screenshots, or altered scan results.

Health & Medical Claims

The Body Pod is a wellness and tracking tool, not a diagnostic or treatment device. Publishers should focus on how it helps users track and understand their body composition over time.

Do not:

  • Claim the Body Pod diagnoses, detects, treats, cures, or prevents any disease or medical condition.

  • Claim the built-in heart rate monitor detects heart problems, irregular heartbeats, or other cardiovascular conditions, or helps "catch serious problems."

  • Claim the product or app identifies food intolerances, inflammation, or allergies.

  • Present the AI coaching as medical, nutritional, or professional health advice, or as a replacement for a doctor, dietitian, or trainer.

  • Reference GLP-1 medications, weight-loss drugs, or any other Hume Health program not included in this offer.

  • Target or imply suitability for users with pacemakers or other implanted medical devices, or for pregnant users, unless expressly approved by the brand.

Performance & Results Claims

Do not:

  • Guarantee specific results, such as a set amount of weight loss, fat loss, or muscle gain in a set time.

  • Use "12X faster" or similar speed-of-results claims unless using the exact approved brand wording and context.

  • Cite accuracy figures (e.g., "98% accuracy" or "comparable to DEXA") or comparisons to hospital equipment unless using the exact approved brand wording.

  • Make unsupported comparisons with competing smart scales or body composition devices.

  • Use dramatic before-and-after body transformation imagery.

Pricing & Promotions

Publishers may only advertise:

  • Current pricing displayed on the official landing pages.

  • Approved discounts, bundles, or promotional offers.

  • Current bonuses or incentives provided by the brand.

Do not:

  • Advertise expired promotions.

  • Create unauthorized coupon codes.

  • Claim an offer is "ending soon" or "limited time" unless approved by the brand.

Testimonials & Reviews

Testimonials must:

  • Reflect genuine customer experiences.

  • Not be altered in a way that changes their meaning.

  • Avoid misleading or exaggerated health or weight-loss claims.

  • Include a clear "results not typical" style disclaimer when describing specific weight or body composition changes.

Do not create fake reviews, ratings, or customer testimonials, and do not present actors or paid spokespeople as real customers, doctors, or health professionals.
