Affiliates promoting MasterClass Executive must follow the guidelines below to ensure all marketing is compliant, brand-safe, and aligned with platform and regulatory requirements.

  • Position it as part of the MasterClass subscription

  • Reference instructors or content from the core MasterClass platform

This is a professional development program, not a traditional academic product.

✅ Use This Language:

  • “Program” (not course or subscription)

  • “Instructors” (not faculty)

  • “Participants” or “enrollees” (not students)

  • “Fees” (not tuition)

  • “Certificate of completion” (not certification)

  • “Business school experience” (not school or MBA program)


🎓 Academic & Accreditation Guidelines

❌ Do NOT:

  • Position as an MBA alternative

  • Compare pricing to MBAs or business schools

  • Suggest accreditation, academic credit, or licensure

🚫 Avoid:

  • “Cheaper than an MBA”

  • “MBA-level education for less”

📝 Admissions & Enrollment

MasterClass Executive is not an open enrollment product.

✅ Do say:

  • The program requires an application process

❌ No Brokering

  • Traffic may not be passed to other networks or intermediaries


🚫 Brand Usage Restrictions

Affiliates must NOT:

  • Guarantee career outcomes

  • Promise salary increases or promotions

  • Suggest job placement outcomes

🚫 Avoid:

  • “Land a promotion fast”

  • “Guaranteed career growth”

✅ Approved Direction:

  • “Designed to help professionals build real proof of capability”

  • “Translate effort into career outcomes”


⚠️ General Compliance Requirements

Affiliates must:

  • Follow Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines

  • Use accurate, non-misleading messaging

  • Avoid false claims or deceptive practices


⚠️ Enforcement

Failure to comply may result in:

  • Removal from the campaign

  • Payout reversals

  • Suspension from the network
