Compliance, Negative Keyword & Messaging Policy

Affiliates promoting Peeps must adhere to the compliance standards below to ensure brand integrity and maintain eligibility for continued promotion within the GiddyUp Network.

❗ Negative Keyword Enforcement

Affiliates are strictly prohibited from bidding on any of the following branded terms in paid search campaigns. This includes:

  • Paid search platforms (Google, Bing, etc.)

  • Display/tracking URLs

  • Domains and subdomains

  • Ad headlines, copy, or metadata

🚫 Prohibited Keywords

  • Peeps

  • Peeps Eyeglass Cleaner

  • Peeps Glasses Cleaner

  • Peeps Carbon Cleaner

  • Peeps Lens Cleaner

  • Peeps Optical Cleaner

  • Peeps by CarbonKlean

  • CarbonKlean

  • Carbon Klean

These branded keywords may not be used under exact, phrase, or broad match targeting in any campaign.

⚠️ Messaging Restrictions

Affiliates must not make exaggerated or unsubstantiated performance claims about Peeps. Avoid guarantees, absolutes, or claims that imply superior performance without substantiation.

❌ Do NOT Say:

  • "Keeps your glasses crystal clear forever"

  • "Removes 100% of dirt and smudges"

  • "Works better than every other lens cleaner"

  • "Never needs a cleaning cloth"

  • "Guaranteed scratch-proof cleaning"

  • Any claims implying medical, clinical, or FDA approval

✅ You MAY Say:

  • "Designed to clean eyeglass lenses quickly and easily"

  • "Helps remove fingerprints, dust, and smudges"

  • "Uses a carbon cleaning pad to clean lenses"

  • "A reusable lens cleaning tool for everyday use"

  • "A convenient alternative to disposable lens wipes"

🔍 Why This Matters

The above terms are brand-protected trademarks. Using them in paid search campaigns or making unauthorized performance claims creates:

  • Unfair competition

  • Misleading advertising

  • Contract violations with the brand

🚫 Violations Will Result In:

  • Removal from the Peeps offer

  • Holds on affiliate payouts

  • Suspension or termination from the GiddyUp Network

✅ Stay Compliant

  • Use only non-branded, benefit-oriented keywords in paid search campaigns.

  • Exclude all brand terms from ad copy, headlines, domains, and tracking URLs.

  • Avoid absolute, comparative, or unverified performance claims.

  • Use only approved product messaging and creative assets.

  • Contact the Compliance Team before launching if you are unsure whether messaging is compliant.
