Premium Pixels & Exclusive Domains Overview

Our industry-leading tracking solution helps to satisfy the constantly evolving privacy and cookie blocking initiatives by Facebook, Apple, Google, and other platforms that started with the iOS 14.5 release. Without this solution, our partners would run into two key issues:

  1. Poor Performance and/or Paused Ads - Facebook ad accounts sending traffic to unverified domains could have their performance severely impact or ads paused until the domains are verified.

  2. Inaccurate Reporting - When using only the Facebook tracking pixel (or other pixel-only solutions) there are significantly less conversions being tracked, delays in reporting, and a healthy dose of “statistical modeling” on behalf of Facebook, the conversions you may be seeing in Ads Manager are significantly underreporting vs. actual conversions in Everflow.

You can read more about the historical Facebook’s recommendations and the impact.

To combat all of this, our team has created the Premium Pixels & Exclusive Domains functionality which can be found on the left side the Everflow Dashboard under "Pixels & Domains".

How Exclusive Domains Work

You can request any available .com Exclusive Domain from your Account Manager (AM). This will be the basis for every link you build.

For instance, you would ask your AM to register coolnewtechgifts.com on your behalf. Once registered you could create subdomains for all Offers you wish to run traffic to.

This core domain "coolnewtechgifts.com" can be verified in Facebook through this same dashboard.

Exclusive Domains are fully compatible with Advertorials, VSLs, and Listicles.

How Premium Pixels Work

After registering your Exclusive Domain, you can then save tracking pixels for Facebook, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat. Our Premium Pixels solution will fire all relevant Shopper events (Purchase, Add to Cart, etc) on your Exclusive Domain to ensure ad platforms see the entire user journey from click to conversion occur on the Exclusive Domain.

Premium Pixels follow Facebook’s best practice of firing both client and server side pixels, providing as much data as possible back to Facebook.

  1. Client side pixel firing - replicates a hard coded pixel on GiddyUp hosted pages vs. injecting them via iframe postbacks in Everflow.

  2. Server side pixel firing - Utilize Facebook's Conversion API (CAPI) integration to pass all events and ensure the highest Event Match Quality possible
