This streamlined connection enables you to:
Pass click data from Google Ads into your Everflow Partner Dashboard using a tracking template. This allows for accurate tracking and attribution of your ad spend. The gclid (Google Click Identifier) is a crucial parameter used for this.
Send conversion and event data from Everflow back to Google Ads. This is essential for campaign optimization. We highly recommend using offers with Events for this integration.
Offer Events: Actions that you want to track, for example, a purchase or a sign-up.
Prerequisites:
Direct Linking: This integration requires Direct Linking to be enabled for accurate tracking and attribution.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Connect Integration:
Google Ads Setup:
This feature can be found within your Google Ads account under Google Ads - + Create. If you already have a Conversion Action you'd like to connect, you can skip this step.
Click + Conversion action.
Select Import > CRMs, files, or other data sources > Track conversions from clicks.
For Data Source, you can select Skip this step and set up a data source later.
Quick Setup Notes:
Select a Conversion goal and give this action a name. Then click Add.
Click on the Settings dropdown to the right of your newly created Conversion Action and select Conversion action settings.
Configure the Conversion action settings. Use the default attribution model within Google Ads, as Everflow will not modify these settings.
NOTE: For the Count setting, select Every if wbraid/gbraid will be used for attribution instead of gclid.
Click Save and Continue > Dome, and your Conversion Action is fully set up in Google Ads.
Configuration:
After connecting your Google Ads account, configure the integration using the Add Google Ads Configuration form.
You can configure multiple integrations, one for each of your Google Ads accounts.
The configuration process involves four sections:
General: Name your connection and enter your Google Ads Manager ID and Customer ID.
Account Settings: It's highly recommended to Allow Everflow to update the default Google Ads tracking template. This ensures the gclid and other necessary parameters are passed correctly, allowing Everflow to associate clicks with conversions in Google Ads.
Select Deny if you want to manually add the needed parameters
Tracking Template: A setting in Google Ads where you specify how click and conversion data should be tracked.
Map Default Tracking Parameters
Configure the parameters to be appended to your Google Ads links.
Google Click ID (gclid) is **mandatory** to attribute the conversion.
To collect *gbraid/wbraid, *enable Additional Tracking Parameters. You can use any custom parameter name (e.g., "wbraid", "gbraid") or EF's standard parameters (sub1-sub5) to pass these values upon click.
Note: While standard parameters (sub1-sub5) appear in EF Reporting, custom parameter names will be available in Click Details.
Campaign Settings: Optional. This allows for customization of campaign-level settings within Google Ads. If you don't enable Campaign Mapping, the account-level mapping from the previous step will be applied.
Conversions: Optional, but strongly recommended for optimization. This section allows you to map Everflow Events to Google Ads Conversion Actions.
Conversion Action: A specific action you've defined as valuable in Google Ads, such as a purchase or sign-up.
Click + Conversion Mapping to add a configuration.
Select the Conversion Action in Google Ads where you want to receive data.
Select the Everflow Offer you want to pass Event data from.
Select the Everflow Event that, when tracked, will be sent to Google Ads under the chosen Conversion Action.
Apply Traffic Rules (Advanced):
This allows for granular control over Conversion Actions and the values passed to them. For example, you can choose not to fire a Conversion Action for traffic from specific email domains or based on the tracked amount of an Event.

Important Notes:
Enhanced Conversions: Consider setting up enhanced conversions in Google Ads to improve the accuracy of your conversion tracking. This involves sending hashed first-party data (like email addresses) to Google in a privacy-safe way. Learn more about Enhanced Conversions.
GCLID: The Google Click Identifier (GCLID) is a crucial parameter passed in the URL when a user clicks on a Google Ad. It's essential for tracking and attributing conversions.
Tracking Template: This is where you configure how click data is passed from Google Ads to Everflow.
Conversion Action: This is a Google Ads term for a specific action you want to track, like a purchase or sign-up.
