VelaSleep Offer

Compliance & Messaging Guidelines

To ensure brand integrity and long-term scalability, all partners promoting VelaSleep must adhere to the following compliance requirements. This offer falls under a health & wellness category, so messaging must remain responsible, non-medical, and non-misleading at all times.

Paid Search & Brand Bidding Policy

Brand bidding is strictly prohibited.

Partners may not bid on or target any branded terms related to VelaSleep across search platforms (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.).

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Brand name usage in keywords

  • Brand name or variations in ad copy

  • Use of brand terms in display URLs

  • Use of brand terms in landing pages or domains

  • Targeting brand terms via PMAX, broad match, or AI-driven campaigns

⚠️ Important:
Ads appearing on branded queries—regardless of intent—will be considered a violation. Platform behavior (including AI matching) does not exempt enforcement.

🚫 Prohibited Keywords (Examples)

The following keyword categories are not allowed:

Brand Terms & Variations:

  • VelaSleep

  • Vela Sleep

  • VelaSleep pillow

  • VelaSleep reviews

  • VelaSleep complaints

Misspellings & Close Variants:

  • “VelaSleep before and after”

⚠️ This list is not exhaustive. Partners are responsible for covering all close variants.

⚠️ Messaging & Claims Restrictions

VelaSleep is a supportive comfort product, not a medical device. All messaging must reflect this.

Do NOT make the following claims:

  • “Cures neck pain” or “eliminates pain permanently”

  • “Treats medical conditions” (e.g., herniated discs, cervical spine disorders)

  • “Doctor-approved” or “clinically proven” (unless explicitly approved by the brand)

  • “Fixes your spine” or “restores alignment permanently”

  • “Guaranteed pain-free results”

Acceptable Messaging:

  • “Designed to support proper neck alignment”

  • “Helps relieve pressure and improve comfort”

  • “Promotes better sleep posture”

  • “May help reduce tension and stiffness”

✨ Think: comfort, support, recovery—not treatment or cure

🚫 Before & After / Sensational Content

The following are not allowed:

  • Dramatic “before vs after” pain transformation claims

  • Unrealistic or exaggerated results

  • Fear-based messaging (e.g., “Your pillow is destroying your spine”) unless softened and balanced

🚫 Medical & Professional Endorsements

Do not:

  • Imply endorsement by doctors, chiropractors, or medical professionals

  • Use imagery suggesting clinical environments unless approved

  • Reference studies, certifications, or clinical validation without approval

🚫 Misleading Urgency & Pricing

  • No false scarcity (“Only 5 left!” unless verified)

  • No fake countdown timers

  • No misleading pricing comparisons or “today only” claims without approval

📢 Creative & Funnel Guidance

Allowed:

  • Advertorial-style content (educational, lifestyle-focused)

  • Problem/solution frameworks (neck tension → better sleep support)

  • UGC-style creatives (realistic, non-medical experiences)

Not allowed:

  • Overly aggressive or fear-driven funnels

  • Medical-style landing pages or diagnosis-driven content

⚠️ Enforcement

VelaSleep is actively monitored for compliance.

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate campaign pause requests

  • Removal from the offer for repeat offenses

Best Practices

To remain compliant and scale successfully:

  • Regularly review search term reports

  • Add extensive negative keyword coverage

  • Avoid risky campaign types (PMAX, broad match without controls)

  • Keep messaging grounded in comfort and lifestyle benefits
